Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog. It recently occurred to me that I have to come up with little white lies or simple excuses to my kids a lot, whether it has to do with Santa Claus, tooth brushing, or taking medicine. Sometimes I can actually think of these 'off the cuff,' but it would be great if I had a "Parent Excuse Resource" to arm me ahead of time with the appropriate answer (or, sometimes, fib). This blog is intended to be an encyclopedia of sorts, solely giving 'explanations' or retorts that have actually worked on kids (mine or otherwise). If I come up with something I think would be a good response, I may post it here as well, but I will make sure to label it as 'untested.'
